The Tournament
This is sort of like the Safari Zone.
Some other differences: 1.You get to catch 1 Pokémon. 2.Press start and the round is over. The Tournament is only held on Tuesday (Kayoobi), Thursday (Mokuyoobi), and Saturday (Doyoobi). You get 20 Silver Pokéballs, it's free, and you only get to take one Pokémon in with you. The Pokémon you take is always the one in your First Pokémon slot. You battle until you either hit START to access your Menu, or kill a Pokémon. As long as you run instead of knocking the Pokémon you meet out, the Tournament will keep going. At the end, the best 3 Pokémon caught are rewarded. Also, you get to keep the 1 Pokémon you had at the end of the Tournament. If you want to catch more than one, you can, but you have to discard either the new or the old one. You can only have one at a time. Every Pokémon you catch here will show as a capture in your Pokédex as well, even if you turn it loose for a different Pokémon.
Mostly you will find Caterpie, Kakuna, Metapod, Butterfree, Weedle, Paras, Beedrill, Venonat, Pinsir, and Scyther.
Once you are done here it's off to Route 26 to Ecruteak City.
1st Place = Sun Stone
2nd Place = Gold Berry
If you don't win, you always get a berry for participating!
